Ben Wise

While competing as a collegiate wrestler, Ben earned his degree in Health & Physical Education.

However, during his time in University it became clear that he loved training even more than competing. Enter CrossFit: competing and training became one.

While working as a Health & Fitness teacher, Ben began competitive CrossFit and coaching at an affiliate. Eventually Ben left teaching to pursue CrossFit coaching full time at an affiliate.

Fast forward to 2018 and Ben founded ZOAR Fitness, and began remote coaching CrossFit athletes. Since then he has coached athletes at the CrossFit Games, Semifinals, and Quarterfinals levels.

Before long, Ben started an affiliate, Lumber Capital Athletics, in Williamsport, PA. This was best of both worlds, providing remote and in-person coaching opportunities for ZOAR Athletes.

Ben loves working with athletes who are serious about their goals and are willing to put in the work to get there.

Dayannara Muñoz

Dayannara, known to most as “Day”, is a Strength & Conditioning Coach at the University of Arizona, overseeing S&C training for several of their sports teams including swimming, diving, men’s golf, and triathlon.

Day was not a high school athlete of any sort (unless you count being on the math team as a sport) but once she entered college and the ROTC program, she spent the following years learning about strength training and applying it to her own fitness goals, as well as training others.

She now has a diverse program design background, having trained for and competed in women’s bodybuilding, powerlifting, and CrossFit.

In addition to her role as a coach, she is a United States Air Force Officer. She received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from MIT (2017) and a master’s degree from Columbia University (2021).
